About the Event

 

Concern India Foundation, a charitable trust supporting the development NGOs all over India will hold this fund

raising Exhibition called ‘The Rustle of Silk’ . It has a plethora of independent

designers as well as craftsmen from all over the country showcasing and selling their products to aid development-

oriented organizations working with the most vulnerable people of our society in the areas of education, health

and community development. 

 

Started in 1991, by Mr. Ardeshir B K Dubash, Concern India Foundation is a non-profit, public charitable trust

whose objective is to work towards making the disadvantaged self-reliant and thereby enable them to lead a life of

dignity. 

 

This exhibition is held every year, and has stalls, exhibiting Ethnic, Semi traditional, fabrics and clothing

and Silver and semi precious jewelry, and even furnishings from various designers. Crafts men from all across the

country display fanatastic traditional fabrics and sarees from their respective towns.
